You can install the Magnetic Mic clip on any solid surface that’s within the driver’s reach, free of obstruction, and away from any electronic devices that may be affected by a magnetic field. Rule of thumb: If you can fit a common, full sized microphone between Magnetic Mic and the other object, the object is probably at a safe distance.
With Magnetic Mic, you have greater flexibility for vehicle setup than with a traditional mic clip. Because you don’t actually have to “guide” the microphone all the way to the base and make sure it’s securely in place, you can install Magnetic Mic, for instance, on the passenger side of a vehicle’s center console.
